Project: Fish Health Database

Project Summary: Initially co-funded in 1997 through the USFWS and National Partnership, this database obtains and analyzes fish health data from locations across the country. A GIS interface exhibiting watershed boundaries was developed so that data can be accessed by queries that are specific to a location. The 1998 support emphasized the integration of additional fields into the database to accommodate environmental variables that may correlate with fish health, and enable whirling disease epidemiological analyses.
